As a transmission line construction manager for a electric utility, it helps me keep a variety of gear well organized and easily accessible in my truck. A lot of times I am the first responder when a transmission event occurs and these panels allow me to grab the necessary gear quickly so I can diagnose the problem faster and get the lights turned back on. I have recommended it to all my peers.
I bought the 15.25x25 panel so that I wouldn't have to carry out the gear that goes in the front passenger seat along with my Patrol Rifle in a hard case. It was getting cumbersome carrying a load in both hands everyday. With this panel I can fit my passenger seat organizer along with my rifle within arms reach and it fits in one hand as I go in and out each shift. With the weight of a ton of forms and other admin gear, the panel holds it all, along with my rifle. I simply made a lock cable to lock my rifle in while I'm out of the car. I used old lashing straps I had laying around to secure the rifle onto the panel and hold the panel to the seat.
